The end goal of this collaboration is to make an inventory screen full of items. I've attached a template, please use the same pixel sizes to create your item and upload it when you're done.
The item itself could be anything, realistic or not. Feel free to add a quantity indicator (or not) and maybe even an item description when you post!
Time Limit: 2 calendar months after this is posted (25th July) Size: 200px by 200px Your image license when you upload it must allow me to use it in the final piece! If not, it won't be included.
After which, I will compile into a full inventory full of items as the final result! If this is successful, I will try to run more. I have an idea for one based off the items created here...
The template is available attached to this message (the blue button below my avatar)
Then I'll start with some items. Simpler and a little more complicated, real and less real. In the mixed cube, I'm pretty sure that this configuration can't exist, because I set the colors randomly. @Greenfoot5 is this okay? Is the license okay if it's cc4.0, or should I change it?
CC 4.0 is fine. I'm only going to compile it and post on the Inkscape gallery. I'll credit everyone and probably link here too. Thanks for sharing so many!
Some more items that should not be missing from any inkscaper's inkventory:
-Soap - because it smells good
-Trumpet - helps when it's too quiet.
-Drum - also for when it's too quiet, if you can't play the trumpet
-Uranium bar - its nice glow as a night light ensures a peaceful sleep
-Gold bar - It's quite heavy, so it can help if you want to prop up a door or need a weight on a pile of documents so that the wind doesn't blow it away.
-Cheese grater - you can grate cheese with it
-CPU - According to ancient documents, it can help a lot if you want to calculate something. I'm not sure what this means, but it might be useful someday.
Almost five years ago, I organised the Inkscape Discord alphabet collab, https://inkscape.org/~Greenfoot5/%E2%98%85inkscape-discord-alphabet-collab, where server members created a letter to submit to the collaboration and at the end a whole alphabet was created.

Is this the kind of image you want?
CC-0 license
Yup! Fits the brief perfectly

Here are three items, CC 4.0 license.
❗Mesh gradients used for Volume, Bass and Treble do not show correctly in the gallery. You have to open the svg files.

One more pack, then I'm out of ideas for now:
- AA battery - if you need a little energy
- A blueprint - a blueprint of an unknown ancient technology. It might be valuable.
- Exit sign - It'll come in handy if you want to get out of somewhere.
- Gingerbread man - "Run, run, as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!"
- A banana - useful if you want to measure something
