Hey, so I just started programming and this idea for a multiple canvas feature popped up in my mind. So basically we have a new tool, similar to the canvas tool in illustrator. The tool would be used to create a rectangle which will be used as a page object, but the rectangle would only be editable by using the tool. The rectangle would also be locked in place
And while exporting the page we will use the export selection option while selecting the page. And for multiple pages we would have to store the information about the pages location and size then loop the export selection option. The only problem I could think of was while saving it as a pdf.
Hope this somehow helps u guys. I dout know how this could actually come go inkscape as a feature/plugin. But hope this helped.
