It would be neat to have a function (button, shortcut key, etc.. ) that toggles the visibility of content to the page size only, see attached file. I know I know, some workarounds exist, but it seems like a pretty easy function and basic for a great software suck as inkscape..
I see... thanks anyway Polygon! while we are here... I have a different button at the end of the ruler (see attached image), is this normal? Anyway, if I hold Q the quick Zoom works, with F nothing seems to happen

Afaik no Toggle is implemented but holding "F" will give you a "Quick Preview".

1.3 Alpha also has a checkbox in the Document Properties that will clip the view to page.
