Beyond the Basics Problem using "COMBINE" to creat a single object

    Hello,

    I'm trying to create a single object from 2 objects by using "Path/Combine (ctrl "K"),

    (A circle and an irregular shape, each is filled with the same colour).

    but when I combine them, there is a hole which represents the areas of overlap.

    Here is a screen-grab showing the "hole"

    I'd use Path>Union.
