Hello! I've been using Inkscape for over a year and I love it, yet I find myself working on detailed projects on a regular basis where I need to mikromanage path and notes and I'm finding myself really missing the option to shortcut the node adjustment tools. There doesn't seem to be a specific reason for not having shortcuts for these tools and I was really hoping they'd appear in the 1.3 version...is there any chance they might be added in the future? Currently, there isn't even an option to set them as the node tools are not in the list of tools that can have a shortcut assigned.
@Polygon - Sorry, I didn't make myself more clear...I was talking about joining and splitting paths, changing node types from corner to straight line and so on. Micromanaging the path and nodes, basically.
@Paddy_CAD - This is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much! When I didn't see the shortcuts in the hover hints, or in the programmable shortcut menu in preferences, I thought there were no shortcuts for these...thank you for the link!

I'm not getting what you're aiming for honestly. You can adjust "Steps" for pixel-wise adjustments via arrowkeys for instance.
There are many shortcut keys associated with the node tool. Take a look at this reference.
