Beyond the Basics inkscape 1.1.1 & macOS Monterey 12.0.1 (only launching from file)

    Inkscape worked just fine on macOS Big Sur and was working on macOS Monterey initially, BUT after Monterey had its first update to version 12.0.1, inkscape fails(apparently not compatible with macOS Monterey 12.0.1).

    Apple had been notified of this issue and many different settings were tried over several hours with a senior advisor.  They seem to indicate the problem is on inkscape's side???  Can't prove or disprove this.  HOWEVER, (at least in my case), I found out if you have a copy of inkscape's file called DEFALUT.SVG and click on it, inkscape will open it and things seem to work fine.  At least that's what I found that works in my case.  Hope this helps for others that are having this problem.  So, is it macOS Monterey 12.0.1 or inkscape ver 1.1.1???  Still unable to figure this one out.
