In previous versions of inkscape, I had successfully printed my films (screen printing films) on 13x19 film using a Canon ix9820 - but I just finished the artwork for a client and tried to print the film and the image didn't print properly. Sections of it were missing, and it appeared as if there was a square "mask" over the image. I tried everything to resolve it. Finally i realized there must be something in the vector data that I can't see or interact with, but is covering my image or corrupting the data for printing. I had to convert the whole thing to a bitmap (it only prints in solid black, so this was ok) - and FINALLY after hours of failed prints and attempts to fix it, i got a good print. This is a huge issue with Inkscape. I don't want to have to create a bitmap layer to print.

Hi Kevin,
What operating system do you work with?
And which version of Inkscape?
If you have recently changed to a newer Inkscape, I would advise to reinstall the older version which worked fine.
