I'm getting this error too. with the new 1.2.2 stable and the 1.3 dev version. i am deleting preferences folder clicking reset preferences in inkscape. i always get it when i turn on snapping and then try to create something. i have to go back to 1.3 11-22-22 dev.
This version is better than version 1.2.1 in terms of smoothness. However, it is less stable, resetting preferences does not solve the problem, and moving the print page also results in errors like quitting the program. Will someone fix it urgently?@TylerDurden
When I tried to install version 1.2.2, I received a warning that Windows detected a threat. I managed to install it anyway, but after I opened an old file and selected some nodes, Inkscape crashed on me.
I click on the measurement tool and a bug appears and the program quits. This version is not stable enough.
Did you reset the preferences after installing 1.2.2?

Me too, new stable 1.2.2 and dev version 1.3-dev (2839b045a, 2022-12-05) on Window 10 22H2.
Reseting preferences does not help ...

Seems fixed now in new 1.2.2 - dev 1.3 not updated yet.
Thanks for letting me know, I'll give it a try.@Panchdara
