I'm really enjoying the new import feature in Inkscape, but there are a couple of things that I might be missing as I am still learning and wondered if anyone might help me with it. I import PDF sewing patterns into Inkscape so that I can redesign them or grade them and the patterns usual come in several pages (some can be up to 50 pages. While it is helpful that now you can IMPORT ALL, when I use this feature, it does put the pages on one row, which means that I'll have to scroll a very long way and sometimes loose the page order of the pattern. I wonder if there is a way that I can import all of the pages at the same time and telling Inkscape to tile them and how many rows I want the page in?
Also, when I import all, the pattern lines in each page are grouped in one, but the background pages stay locked on to the page. Is there a way that the whole page including background can stay grouped?
Hi there,

Many thanks in advance. :-)
On the first part (importing) not yet.
On the second part, yes.
