I was updating the Beginner's guide and wanted to give some examples on how spirals are used, but can't seem to find much in the wild. Have you used or seen artists using spirals? If so, how?
Edit: Celtic Spirals is on my "todo" list but so busy with knotwork, key and step patterns. Once I figure out how to utilize them in Fusion 360 in a "maker" friendly way - I will include that in my construction kit.
I periodically do a youtube search for "Inkscape" and filter by date to find new and interesting channels. Inkscape has a very large user base - just not apparent (vocal?).
Constructed them manually most of the time. Made a series of different golden ratio and Fibonacci spirals. Almos ten years ago. All these necromancy reminds me to revisit old ideas again.

Do an image search at Google using "celtic spirals".
