Hi, I want to use all of Google Fonts of which I have a legitimate font pack in a folder. But if I do that, Inkscape will be handling too much fonts by default. In my previous experience, this causes a lot of launch crash. Is there any chance I can use Font Folder other than .fonts in Ubuntu and still be able to get a preview in Fonts dialogue?
The font dialog was improved greatly in v1.3.2, to include font collections. The animated illustration shows over a thousand fonts being managed, seemingly without issue.

Thanks. Any chance I can group all my Google Fonts automatically. Can I use a folder inside the .fonts folder in Ubuntu? Will it work?
