I am currently using Inkscape 1.2 (56b05e47e7, 2022-06-09, custom) on Ubuntu 20.4. When I try to export my image to another file type, I am unable to specify a path to my home directory. Instead, the save path resets to /run/user/1000/doc/e18c55a5. When I navigate to this folder in the terminal, the file does not exist, even when I use ls- a.
The same issue does not happen when I use Inkscape on my Windows boot. It would be great if someone could advise me how to work around this issue, or if I should formally report a bug.
