Beyond the Basics Empty EPS file on export

    Hi,

I'm trying to export a file to EPS format from Inkscape 1.0.1 but I'm getting an empty EPS file.

This Inkscape file started as a CorelDraw file imported in Inkscape. Then I edited it a lot.

Now, I just need an EPS version of it to be imported in Scribus but I'm getting a blank EPS file. Ideas?

My Inkscape file is available here: https://we.tl/t-xxdfPFTF2P

I already tried exporting it as EPS, PS, PDF and also printing to file. The result is always the same: blank files with just 2 or 3 Kb

Any ideas on how to solve this issue or, at least, further debug it?

There is a corrupt Text object (text2654): "identificação rapel/trecho técnico".

There are also corrupt paths (see picture)

Try deleting those objects and replacing it before saving a copy as pdf.

I tried removing several objects from my file but all the time I got a "error while rendering output: invalid matrix (not invertible)" message and a blank EPS file. Even when I removed all objects!

Obviously, when I removed all objects, getting a blank EPS file was expected but I still got the "error while rendering output: invalid matrix (not invertible)" message.

I created a layer and moved all objects to this new layer. Then I COPY/PASTED all the contents of my original file in a single move to a new empty file. Everything is working fine now with this new file.

Just out of curiosity, how did you check that there were corrucpt objects? Is it in the "Objects" window? How can you tell which ones are corrupt and which ones aren't?

Thanks for your help and attention!

    That's excellent.

To find corrupt objects, I delete half the objects repeatedly.
