Inkscape will not retain the pattern I inserted in patterns.svg, saying it needs administrator authorization to do so. How do I do that?
Another problem: I am confused in that the patterns.svg file is in both the PAINT and PATTERNS folders. Which is the right one to keep? And how come there are two places for it?
A third question: what is, now that PAINT SERVERS is a new arrival, the use of PATTERNS in Fill & Stroke?
Finally, have successfully pasted a pattern I made into patterns.svg by struggling with authoriztions. Now I have one question: patterns.svg appears in both PAINT and PATTERNS folders. Why is that and do I keep both?
