Will Inkscape (version1.2) be including any add-ons to be able to design furniture. Or being able to do architectural design ? I used to have Sketchup, but the newer version only allows one to design floor plans ( for the annual cost of $300). So far, with Inkscape, I've created a few simple shapes and objects.

Inkscape is 2D illustration software... I'd be looking at 3D CAD of some kind for furniture & architecture.
I don't know anything about CAD. I never had the training for it.

I still keep an SU version from 2017, already Trimble but still works for hobbyists.
