I'm working with the Lasercut Jigsaw extension within Inkscape and after creating my puzzle, I'd like to create an inset for the individual pieces for a specific project.
For example, The image below shows the puzzle I am creating. Its a 5"x5" puzzle. I would like to split up the puzzle into individual pieces and then create an inset for each piece.
When ungrouping the puzzle, it doesnt split them into each piece rather it splits the notch lines up as shows in the image below.
Has anyone worked with this extension and been able to split pieces up? Or would there be another solution to achieve this? Any help is appreciated.
Hey @TylerDurden Thanks for the tip! I notice that even at 0 grow/shrink, it doesn't capture the edge of the piece accurately. Is there another setting I can configure to allow it to match exactly? The inner line is the paint bucket.

For fast & dirty, I'd use the bucket tool and not split the pieces up.

Thanks,
Bucket precision is squirrely, but still might be better than making individual pieces. http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Bucket.html
