I downloaded version 1.2 yesterday, and I like it! But in 1.1 I could change layers to groups and groups to layers in the Objects pane. Now The Objects pane and the Layers pane are combined and you can toggle between the two. I think that is a good idea, but I can't find how to change groups in layers or layers to groups.

in the Layers and Objects dialog [right_click] the group or layer and you should see [Group to Layer] or [Layer to Group].
