Beyond the Basics Colour printed is not the colour on screen

I have imported an SVG graphic into Inkscape, (have tried several different graphics), and when I print it to an Epson F170 Sublimation printer the colours do not match, not even close.  If I print the same file from Cricut design space or from Photoshop elements the colour is spot on.  I have tried different combinations of profiles and nothing changes.  Image 5979 is the correct colour and img 5978 is what is being printed from Inkscape.  I am at a loss of what else to try.  I have tried several different computers, and have printed from Inkscape to an Epson 830 printed and it still gives the wrong colour.  Printing from other programs works fine.  Am I missing a setting somewhere that would cause this???  thanks for your help.  All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I love this software and want to get away from Cricut Design

    thanks

    Glenn

As per the answer in the Chat already try to use PDF and another software to print from.

I have tried the suggestion of printing outside inkscape with no success.  I saved the file in inkscape as a PDF then opened it in Abode and printed from there with the same wrong colour.  Again the colour on screen both in Inkscape and in PDF in Adobe both are correct, but after printing is is as above.

That sounds more of a printer problem or probably the conversion from RBG to CMYK.

I wonder though where the stroke suddenly came from?

I have tried it on 3 printers...  All the same..

I still find it strange that a contour suddenly appears in the printout. The graphic must have been edited in some way.

Does the image source is in some special color-grade format, bit-depth or something? Did the workflow ever worked for you at some point in time. When you´re not editing the image (SVG or bitmap?) why not load it into Scribus or LibreOffice for printing? Why Inkscape?

It has never worked.  Nothing special.  It is not just this one image.  I have tied printing it via other programs..  Adobe, word, Photoshop elements, all the same.  I can send the file to you if you like....  in the meantime I am going to start over with just a standard photo image and try again from scratch.

Thanks  - but my 4c-Laser just runs on black right now - but if you want I can check the image of course - I guess you did that already.
