I recently updated my Inkscape to the newest version after not doing so for about a couple of years. Now I can not see what I'm typing in the fonts section-no matter what side bar or top bar I choose. It will type in the sample box off to the left. However, I can't see it on my project. The fill section is enabled, the color is set to black but I can't see it. What am I doing wrong? If this is a bug, I'd like it fixed. I need to make personalized Easter baskets. I have tried asking FB pages showing what my Inkscape is doing. No one can help me out. I have also re-installed the program, started designs over, everything I can think of. I wish I could send you a pic of my screen to show you.
