I've just installed the 1.2 version and when it begins I don't get the Welcome screen where it seems that's the only place to change the canvas back to all white.
Am I missing something?
The Document Properties dialog has color controls for Page, Border and Desk. Desk = Canvas
If you want the Welcome screen back for any reason, there is a checkbox in the Preferences>Interface>Windows>Miscellaneous.
