I'm having trouble with a path. I started with a rectangle, converted to a path, then started adding nodes to make the rough outline of a bunny. I am not an Inkscape expert and decided I should be using keys to change the node types. So that is probably where I made some sort of mistake.

However it happened, I now have one segment of the path where I cannot change the type of either of the nodes. I also cannot move the line as in bending it.

I have attached a file with the object. the flat part at the back of the bunny is the problem segment.

Can anyone tell me why that one segment acts this way when all the rest are normal?

I'm using Inkscape 1.2.2 on Linux Mint 22.2.

This segment behaves strangely because (...dramatic pause...) there is no segment!

This is an open path. To close it, select the two nodes and in the tool control bar [Join selected endnodes with a new segment].
