Experiencing a technical difficulty exporting the png.
All of a sudden the file name bar and folder icon stopped responding to clicks.
The png will not export. The message says "You have to enter a file name." It happens now to old files reopened. The computer has been restarted. What can fix png export? 

Reinstalled Inkscape but the problem persists. The png export folder icon does not respond to a click. Unable to export being unable to select a file name or destination.

Are you using 1.3 or 1.3.1 ?

Update: It's fixed now with 1.3.2 https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.3/gnulinux/ubuntu/ppa/dl/

Export folder icon does not respond to a click.

Try to update to v.1.3.2.

i have same problem ubuntu - inkscape Inkscape 1.3.1 (9b9bdc1480, 2023-11-25, custom)

i try it with 1.4 beta ->same problem->its not possible to click on export file name button

any ideas?

There may be issues with snap releases. I'd try the PPA: https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.3.2/gnulinux/ubuntu/ppa/dl/
