I had an issue to see a complete "g" (letter with descending stem) in Inkscape on Linux Mint so I added a line with an invisible letter (white like the background) to ensure that the letter g is not cropped.
But now I need to export as .png my modification has no effect.
The link to report a bug isn't working and there's no manual in my language (French). That link leads nowhere and in any case it concerns a very old version.

No, I don't know how it was solved because I worked & I trashed a lot this week-end. I couldn't even remember the particular work.
