Yall are going to think I'm crazy for this question lol
I am working with a pattern that I have duplicated about 20 times to create a paint splatter look. Is there a way to combine the 20 duplicates to become one. I tried grouping, but it seems like the group is still 20 patterns, just grouped as one. (obviously because you can ungroup them) I can also tell because it becomes laggy after I duplicate many times, and continues the lag when grouped.Β
Im wondering if I can physically make the 20 patterns permanently one object?Β
Because the bounding box is way too large for the content I suggest to ungroup everything till you have no group left: check status bar for that info. Then select all and go Path->Union - that should make one whole thing. If this donΒ΄t work consider to upload the Inkscape file please.
