Whenever I press Ctrl+S it always comes to 'Inkscape SVG' but I want to change it to 'Plain SVG'. For saving in plain SVG I have to hover over the list to choose it. I want the settings to be adjusted in such a way that 'Plain SVG always comes to top'.
I'd try Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S for save a copy as... it seems to maintain the last filetype. You would also need to confirm overwrite, so pick your poison, so to speak.
