I have a JPG file that contains a drawing for the creation of a model of a motorboat. I'm attaching a sheet of it.
Now what I would like to do is convert this drawing into a path to be able to feed it to laserGBRL to be able to cut them with the laser. I've already tried to import it into INKSCAPE and convert it into a path but it makes two lines. I'm also attaching the generated svg file. Could you help me complete the procedure correctly? If possible, of course.
There´s the "Centerline" tracing option - but I doubt it will help you with the laser process. I´d manually trace with the Pen Tool (B); You just need half of the cross sections as you can duplicate and mirror e.g.

Worked for me using the Trace Bitmap function. single scan, brightness cutoff, threshold 0.45. Is that what you're looking for?
