Here is one way, using path effect "Interpolate sub paths":
Thanks again. Just wanted to give an update. It took a few tries. Apparently the vertex order is really important. My first attempts were producing squigly lines between the two paths, or just failed outright. It also didn't like the vertical paths at all. What I had to do was trace the top path, then copy it an manually align it to the bottom path. Not too much of an issue. The result is exactly what I was looking for.
I'm trying to make a set of paths between two path of different shapes. I would like each path to evenly transition between the two paths.
It's for a flag that I have toperserve the shape of, but I'm trying to add horizontal stripes to it.
The top and bottom are different.
