How to have a PROTECTED PDF?

I make my course notes and sewing patterns with INK. I love it, but when I send my downloadable PDF document, anyone can use my information / illustrations from similar software.

How can security / freeze information so that people cannot modify or copy my information / illustration from software like INK or other?

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the forum!

I'm not all that familiar with PDF.ย  But I would look into Adobe documentation.

Or maybe someone else here knows?

Hi, there are a couple of possibilities for you here.

The easy one is to wrap the pdf in a zip file which can have a password. I can explain further if necessary.

The other way is to do a web search for "how to add password to pdf", there are both free and pay for programs. Also there are also online sites that will do it.

If you are using a mac, your preview app can do it. Just open it in Preview and select export to pdf, you will get the chance to protect it.

Hope that is of some help.

Generally speaking, the best way is to create a protection password for the PDF to prevent those who access it without permission.By the way, many people are used to creating a protection password for PDFย on the computer. Of course, many peopleย forget this password, the result is that the PDF cannot be accessed,as I have experienced and done before, when you cannot open the protected PDF you can try this method.
