Hi, I would like to add nodes on a path at thirds of a segment instead of at half when pressing add nodes. Is there a way to do that reasonably easily?

I don't know of an easy way, no. But there may be other ways to reach your goal.

What is the goal? What do you need the thirds for?

I needed to subdivide then move around a hex bounded pattern to a finer hex pattern. The thirds comes from the form factor between the two.

You could use snapping to snap the nodes you create to any different grid intersection points. In case your goal is to 'fractalize' the shape that you have.

If that's not the goal, I think I need some more details, maybe a drawing that shows what you want.

It's about right, finally, I decided to manually add every node to do the modification, tedious and boring work. :/
