I already done this process before. But effectively, when I exported the results frames, I discovered lot of shift with the axes position, even I locked everything.
It cause a dirty GIF visualisation of my gauge run.
But I done this process with the clone paving to accelerate repetivity.
I will do like you write, probably I could see the shifting of the center, and retouch it.
After some hours of frustrations and searche by myself, I found one solution which convenient me.
Cause every rotation angle change the virtual size square of the needle, it change the image interchangeably.
It after that, I understood that I have to hold the dimension with a invisible part, obligatory linked with the gauge.
I drawed a black circle around my gauge, After that, every rotation of my needle not impact on my gauge size. Resulting no shif during read of the images.
Of course, my display background is black, and the black circle is invisible ...
Hello,
I had built a gauge background and a needle.
I would like to obtain a serie of pictures of my gauge with different angle of needle.
Causing from the first to the last picture a rotation of the needle.
I tried it by the use of a script from imagemagick catch from another forum.
without any success.
And I build my needle and my gauge background on the same canevas withe same center and proportion.
I don't understood why but the script cannot find the center of my image causing incorrect position of the needle on my gauge background.
Does exist a function in Inskape where we could do it , without the use of an external software like imagemagick ?
You can found with "autometer" the result a obtained wich is not researched.
Normally, my needle must be centered in the circle and rotating.
At finality,
I would like to obtain somes exact copys with different angle of needle(up to 100).
And use these images in an oled display, causing a very realistic gauge.
If everybody could help me,
Thanks a lot, in advance.
Here's my suggestion.

Hello,
I come back with my last design.
The process work, but here is the issue,
From 20° of angle image is redimensionned, causing a shift during my GIF.
I activated all lockers possible to block the dimensions, but unfortunally, I won't find the correct solution to unpass this issue.
I blocked every cloned group,
But every time I exported the batch of images, sizes are differents, causing this issue.
Only thing is here, I need the object locked center on my image, with the final dimension hold.
After that it will be solved.
But how can do it ?
Thanks
