Flatten also works, but works as if a stroke to path was applied : you need to remove the stroke and apply a fill color and choose the letters you want to be in front.
Hi guys, I created the Text with Inkscape, now I need to delete the path that I selected in the attached file. How can I do it?
The method depends on if you want the letters joined, or still individual shapes.
Shapebuilder will also do the job.
Path > flatten may will also do it in one go, I think, provided you stack the letters in the right order.
