Hello, I would like to merge PDF files and then convert them to SVG file.

I am looking for a tutorial for this. Can anyone give me a suggestion for this?

    Thank you in advance, Henk

I believe there will not much conversion taking place just swapping one container file format for another.

@Smokie, please describe the project in more detail:

Do you want the result to be one large svg image from multiple small pdf files?

Or, do you want to have each pdf file as a page in an svg file?

    Or,.....something different?

The PDF will probably import as pages, so it may be necessary to copy from each page and paste into a main page or other Inkscape document.

Each page may have bitmap images (embedded pictures) or vector lines or both, so different methods are used depending.

Feel free to share the pdf for more specific guidance.

Drag PDF onto Inkscape.app icon to open pdf - type in the page you want to be loaded - then go File->Import - again type in page number - Inkscape has now a 2 page document - I select all from a single page to align with the other content - when done delete page when Page tool is active - make sure "content" will not deleted as well - there´s a checkbox for this. I then too the Page tool to expand the page size to content or use the Page properties to crop page size to content - that´s it.

    🆒

thank you very much for your information!!

I'm going to work on that in detail tomorrow.

I'm not yet familiar with the Inkscape program, but I can see that I can use it well for my mill/needle cutter and laser cutter.

    Greetings, Henk
