It was good! I have already experimented with making an alien alphabet by following this tutorial. I followed all the instructions, converted the file to ttf, installed it on Windows... but, I don't know why, my font comes out with a tiny size!
For it to be visible in Gimp, for example, I have to set it to... 300 pixels in the text dialog. The problem is that the letters get serrated. An alternative would be to use FontForge to convert the alphabet to ttf. In my case it would not be feasible to learn a whole program just to make a font that I will only use occasionally...
@Guerreiro64 Thanks. Actually this was more of a personal exercise, but I'm going to watch the video because I've been curious. I have never tried anything like this 😉
• Marcos González: yes, my alphabet was also for a personal project. I forgot to mention: in the tutorial they indicated an option to adjust the space between the letters. When I tried to do that, Inkscape crashed... maybe you'll have better luck in version 1.2. I don't know if it was due to this that it generated an error in the conversion to ttf...
Trying an alphabet with only two simple shapes. Only capital letters and numbers. It's fun, but frustrating too 😄

Another inspiring and creative idea and result!
Thank you for sharing this.
