Hi, I didn't know where to put this post, so I'll take advantage of it and leave it as a tip. I just realized that in version 1.3 the Alpha option of the fill tool does not work. This option is very useful to get silhouettes very quickly. I know it's a development version, but I was wondering if it's just me or it happens to everyone. I leave a video made with the 1.2 Thanks https://youtu.be/n8A8UewfD3A
Being the development version I just wanted to check if it was a widespread problem (my laptop rs very old). I have never reported a bug and wanted to be sure since I have pretty much customized Inkscape and the first requirement is to restore by default. Is there a way to save to a file these changes and reload them later? I don't know if the question makes sense.
The preferences.xml in the user configs can be renamed, and Inkscape will generate a default version on next launch. That might solve the issue, then the changed things you like could be added back.
If that doesn't resolve the issue... if there are other custom files for UI, etc. . I'd probably copy those and put in a safe place.

That's a nice feature. I don't see a bug report on the 1.3 dev version, so could you file one?
Thanks for posting!

Thanks so much 👍
The report has been made. I hope I got it right 🙂
