I am attempting to put the chapter and verse of poetry on one line, then the actual line of the poem below it and Inkscape keeps putting them all together.

This is what I want

Title Chpt. Vs.
this is the line of the poem itself.

What I get it is this:

Title Chpt. Vs.this is the line of the poem itself.

It worked the first time I did it, now it won't work again no matter what I try.
