Has anyone else noticed that Inkscape's beautiful splash screen has the wrong url on it.  It has Inkscope.org.  That is a nasty site that tries to get your information.   It's on the splash screen when you open the program.  It's also on the splash screen when you click Help > About Inkscape.  

This is just an observation.

Which version of Inkscape, and which operating system are you using? And can you post a screenshot of the splashscreen?

I'm using Linux & version 1.01 and all looks correct on my system. The font used certainly has quite rounded letters, but it's definitely an 'a' in Inkscape, not an 'o'. 

That rises the question where you got the "kinky" version from? All fine with the macOS version in this regard.

Legit Inkscape versions don't have a splash screen on startup.

Where did you find the bogus version?

I apologize for some confusion I caused.  I saw the Splash Screen when I installed the latest version of Inkscape, not when it opens. The same graphic is on the Help > About Inscape page and it has the incorrect email address on it.  I do have the legitimate version of Inkscape. When I saw it on the About Inkscape window, I remembered I had seen it before. I was just wrong about where I'd seen it.  Sorry. The graphic I'm referring to is attached.

Close inspection shows rounded lowercase letter a, not o.
