I have the a sentence written on a path. It says "Pronounciation of Name". Is there anyway to move that up so it sits between the first and the second circle.
I could just drag it, it maintains its shape, but then I would have uneven spacing on other the rest of them. I have a bunch of these I need to make.
I can ungroup everything.Β In fact, I have copies of these that are ungrouped already, but how do I shift them up from the line. The letters are text.

I had not thought of using a seperate path and hiding it. Would I just make a duplicate of the path I already have, enlarge ons of the circles, then hide it. I guess. I am no expert with Inkscape.
Yes, make a duplicate of the inner circle, enlarge it and use the align tool to keep them concentric. Keep it visible until you are pleased with the positioning of the words then turn off both fill and stroke for the circle so that it is not visible (easier to work with and edit while it is still visible).

Can you ungroup everything then group the sentence then group everything else so they don't move, last select all then align?
I'd use a separate path and hide it.
