Sorry - newbie here and already I've got something that I just can't seem to resolve - sorry if it's obvious to you.

I have inherited a file from someone else and am supposed to be "just" editing my information in its text areas, all of which need to be right-aligned.

One item is a telephone number "+44 (0) 1abc defghi".  When the text object, it is in, is in editing mode if the "text direction for normally horizontal text" points right, then the number appears correctly, but the text in the object is all left-aligned.  If the "text direction for normally horizontal text" points left, then the order of the numbers changes to "defghi 1abc (0) 44+", but the text in the object is correctly right aligned.

I hope that makes sense.  Can anyone tell me what is causing this and how to fix it?
