I just downloaded Inkscape today and when I went to go use it with my tablet, it crashed as soon as I tapped the screen. It came up with a message like "Inkscape has encountered an internal issue and will now close." I have a Gaomon PD1560 tablet, in case that could possibly be the issue.

I use Inkscape 1.0.1 x64 .msi install

Same problem for me.

Hello there,
I'm having the same issue here, the moment I use my pen when Inkscape is open, the application will crash.
Meanwhile, I have no issue when I'm only using my mouse and keyboard.

I suggest opening a report for the Gaomon and helping the developers find a solution.

Same problem here, running:

• Inkscape 1.0.1 x64
• Windows 10  Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042
• Tablet Gaomon S620, Driver version 7.1.7610.16485

Program starts up fine, but as soon as I click with the pen anywhere within Inkscape, it crashes.  

I can't find any logs but the Windows Event log shows this :

The tablet works perfectly with other software like Krita, so Inkscape seem's to be the problem here.

i have the same problem. I desinstalled gaomon software from my computer and I can now use my tablet but without all functionnallities like buntons. 

That's doesn't work perfectly but if that's work...

Personnaly i just use Krita instead of Inkscape (another libre software but more specialise for drawn)

I have the same issue, with inkscape version 1.0.2 x64
Using Windows 10 
And Tablet Gaomon M106K , HID Driver : 7.1.7610.16485

The issue occurs on the libgdk-3-0.dll library. So I believe the issue should be looked into this GDK library rather than in the driver.

Unless it is proven that the issue lies in the driver. For me it is on the used GDK library.

Same problem here.

Running Windows 10 with a Gaomon M10k Pro tablet (driver version 16.0.0.20) and Inkscape 1.0.2-2.

Inkscape crashes everytime I try to use the stylus. If I uninstall the driver, Inkscape works but I don`t have access to all the added functionalities.

I am really for the SVG functionalities of Inkscape and I don't know if I can use another software for this end ?

Not sure if this will help but Inkscape is now on version 1.1

I didn't know a new version of Inkscape was out. I just dowloaded it and installed it. Still same problem 😕

I just returned a Gaomon PD156Pro tablet in part because it has this exact problem.  They Made a few attempts to address it but no progress.

I went back to the old GAOMON DRIVER (v 14.7) and Inkscape 1. works fine with that. Some pen tablet windows abilities no work thoug. 

I'm also using a Gaomon S620 on Windows 10 and having the same issue
