    Hello,

I am trying to use an SVG file for importing into a CNC program, however, the designer used a method to create a feature, which I am not familiar with and does not import cleanly. I have loaded the file into Inkscape and changed the Display Mode to Outline, but I do not know how to get ride of the nodes and leave the "swish". The SVG along with how it looks when imported into my program (MFleet2.jpg) have been attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@JayD58 It looks like you need to convert your path effects to path, try Path > Object to Path

Thanks for the response, Martin. Unfortunately, the file imported with the same results.

It looks like they have used a clipping path in a different program. I was not able to combine using Union etc.

I used a tracing trick at high resolution instead.

I have added a layer above called StarComet.

Might work with your cutter, not sure.
