HI, whenever im using the text tool, and i copy and paste kanji writing into the text box, it automatically has a single font, that i cannot change, even with the custom kanji fonts ive installed, And the text always has the same standard japanese font?
am i doing something wrong? or is there something i need to change? to be able to edit, and apply different fonts to them
I have the same problem. Even when selecting serif or other fonts, it remains the default sans-serif. It doesn't render. Even within the same text box, English and other foreign languages (Korean) change. When I checked the XML, the font family was correctly applied. When I switched the language setting from Japanese (ja) to English (en), the font rendering worked. Since the primary language does not change, but foreign languages do, people who have Korean or Chinese as their primary language may also experience the same phenomenon.

What happens if you simply type, and not use copy/paste?
