I have no clue what you would call this so I did a screenshot. It's driving me nuts and I have tried finding a solution but finally gave up. How do I correct this little gray circles from showing up on all my text?
You have a dashed stroke on the text object. :)
With the object selected, hold shift and click on the X swatch.
