I am trying to export a rectangle with no fill to a png with a transparent background. No matter what i try, i always end up with a white background. The preview in the export window shows a transparent background (see attached screenshot), but when i export i get a rectangle with a white background.
I have the latest version of inkscape (1.4) and am on a windows 10 PC have uninstalled and reinstalled inkscape and did a reset on "preferences-system"
Sorry, send my anwer too soon by mistake. My color profile is on rgb and when i choose background color in the export window i see a rgba value, but the alpha (opacity) value is 0.
Don't know what i did but all of a sudden it is working and i get a transparent png file.

Hope someone can tell me what i am doing wrong.
Perhaps in the color options of png export (rgb instead of rgba) ?
Hello David248,
Thank you very much for your reaction.
Where did you see rgba in the color options of png export window ?
