Hi, I made this entry for the About Screen Contest for Inkscape 1.2. I am a teen who has gained an interest in vectors starting with Adobe Illustrator. I was shown to Illustrator by my visual design teacher and I have been in love with vector graphic editors ever since. A few months later I looked into Inkscape because I know I can't pay for Illustrator. And I was amazed at how well features were implemented. So, I wish more great features will get implemented as well as all the contributors to have good luck and a bunch of fun (and more work done on this). (also the Bot's name is a WIP but for now, I call him Draw bot or Drawbe)
From my imagination I tried to make an abstraction of what the title of the 'Inkscape' program implies, as if it were an ink leak coming out of a brush, as in a surreal and artistic world. Desde mi imaginación intente hacer una abstracción de lo que supone el titulo del programa "Inkscape", como si fuera un escape de tinta que sale de un pincel, como en un mundo surrealista y artístico.

Inkscape 1.0 Splash Screen Contest. The idea is that a bottle of ink is spilling over the Inkscape mountain, running wildly everywhere, and two of Inkscape’s drawing tools, the Bezier and Calligraphy tools, are picking up the ink to draw and write text. Wanted to show some of the well used and well loved features Inkscape can do, such as pattern along path, text on a path, shadowing, gradients, vector texture, and a mesh ribbon using interpolation.
