Hi, I have a semi-circle and a vertical line on it. i want to trim the top and the bottom portion of the lines extending out from the 2D semi-circle and only keep the portion of the line within the semi-circle. I am trying Path options but they are not working-how can i solve this? I tried attaching the screen-shot but could not find the option to do so.
In this attached figure i am trying to clip the line so as to keep the line within the semi-circle only but no commands are working...thanks! How to achieve this?
Yes but if you zoom on the lower portion it is not completely matching the curved surface of the semi-circular ellipse. It may not be appropriate for a thesis..?

Attachments are via the paperclip button or drag&drop into the text composition area.
