Hi, I have a semi-circle and a vertical line on it. i want to trim the top and the bottom portion of the lines extending out from the 2D semi-circle and only keep the portion of the line within the semi-circle. I am trying Path options but they are not working-how can i solve this? I tried attaching the screen-shot but could not find the option to do so.

Attachments are via the paperclip button or drag&drop into the text composition area.

Yes but if you zoom on the lower portion it is not completely matching the curved surface of the semi-circular ellipse. It may not be appropriate for a thesis..?
