    Hi all,

I have a project that I want white on a transparent background. I have changed every bit of fill/stroke/text (converted to path) as white (as far as I know).

I then save a copy as a PDF, but then when I open said pdf the object is black, no matter how many times I go back and try to change things.

I have (I hope) attached both the svg and the pdf. If you have any clues on what I'm doing wrong please let me know!

    Thanks so much

I don´t think there´s any failure in the files - the only question is which app can preview PDF incl. white content on transparency background? In every app I tested the content is there. Some needs enabled transparency in the document settings some don´t have that feature some instantly present white content on transparency checkerboard.

(Speaking of content: most of the converted text has separate shapes for fill+outlined strokes - which I would union to my taste for a better file handling in regards of 3d-party use.)

    👍

So, the problem is fixed. It was caused (and solved by) me being an idiot. The issue wasn’t with Inkscape, or adobe reader, it was just that when I was viewing it in Acrobat I had “replace document colours” selected without realising. Uncheck the box and hey presto

thanks for the response, I’ll look at the union thing too. Cheers!
