When I draw a shape with one of the shape tools, the control icons that appear on the bounding box are too large to see the shape. I have to zoom in on the figure to make the controls proportionally smaller in order to see what's going on. This was not a problem in earlier versions of Inkscape. Shouldn't these controls resize according to the size of the figure? I've looked at the settings in Preferences, but can't find anything that works.
Never mind. I found the solution. For anyone else looking for how to change the handle size, open Edit Global Inkscape Preferences (icon with the double wrench at the right end of the iconized menu line. Click Interface. Under User Interface, find the sliding bar labeled Handle Size. Adjust as desired.
