Sorry for I expect this to have been significantly explained already 100k times. Unfortunately all of my searches through these forums and online have all lead to dead ends.
Basically I've quite well understood the concept that in order to have justified text I'll nee to have it within a text box or framed to some shape. However, after trying versions 0.9.2.4 on both Windows and Linux, 1.0 on Linux and Windows as 1.1dev on windows, I still can't find way to make it work. No matter what I try, justify is always greyed out and not available. I've tried using rectangle objects, drawn paths, and so many others and it's always disabled in all platforms and versions. I've tried different fonts to make sure that was also no the cause. Can this related to anything on my system?
I'm perfectly aware that Inkscape is a free software, It's an awesome product of the good will and free time of its developer community and I'm not trying to be disrespectful or annoying, instead, trying to understand what the complexity seems to be with implemening this. If, as I've seen, most of what's in an inkscape SVG is XML and CSS why not just implement.

Hello,
1. select text tool
2. select justifying
3. draw the text box
4. type the text
Kind regards Stanko
Hey there Cesta!
Thank you for your valiant assistance here.
Well, unfortunately that did not work for me in Linux Mint...
BUT, it got my brain gears sputtering, and an alternative order worked for me!
Much gratitude for solving this for us!
Magnificent Regards,
Abraham
