Beginners' Questions Inkscape adding blur when ungrouping or copying a collection of object.

    Hi Guys,

Long time fan, first time poster so please go easy. Sorry if this has been brought up before but I looked and couldn't see anything similar.

An example of my issue: I have a 100x100px square with a 90x90px circle inside. When I drag to select both then copy and paste, Inkscape adds a small amount of blur to the objects. Because of the way Inkscape handles blur, the circle looks like it's been cropped. (I can't see how to load an image to my post as this would explain it better.) This also happens if I group and ungroup a collection of objects. The strange thing is, it varies between 0.7 and 2% blur.

Any idea's would be great appreciated thanks.

Describe your OS & version, the version of Inkscape and the installer you used, plus any special hardware like tablet/stylus or multiple monitors.

Thanks Tyler. I feel a bit silly now for omitting that, it's basic forum stuff isn't it. Anyway, it's Version 1.0 (4035a4fb49, 2020-05-01) on a Windows 10 Enterprise Intel Xenon PC.  Dual monitors with a 3Dconnecxion Spaceball and normal(ish) mouse and keyboard setup. While I was playing around today, I noticed that it might be linked to layer blur, not object blur. I don't know if that helps.

Did you paste to a new layer?

I'd like to add something here. I've had the same issue, alongside another similar issue where is a line-based object that is too far left or right (I don't know about up and down), the far most item in either direction will automatically crop off the edge of the line up to the vector line (the red line if you have that option on). And stranger yet, both issues only started after I was far into the project I was working on.
I was using version 1.0.2, but I'm trying to redownload the program to see if that'll fix it. If not, I'll come back to say so, and provide some screenshots

Okay, no change, but, it's even stranger than I thought. The issue seems to only based focused on Layer Groups (sorry I didn't a good look at those layers, but trust me here). I don't have an idea on what's really causing the glitch
