Is it possible to set guidelines (hopefully interesecting guidelines) to a exact node which is within a Path? Whether the path is open or closed?

I wish to do this for a specific node and not to the bounding box of the path. Nor to the start nor end nodes of the path.

Knowing how to do this may be a means of helping me align some other aspects of the path or different paths.

I'd activate Snap to Smooth and/or Cusp Nodes, plus Snap to Guides.

The guide origin will snap to the closest node. You can snap an intersecting guide if you like.
